3/25

Last night, we were hit by a crazy thunderstorm. There were around 20ish of us in a little tent city, and we really staked down our tents. The wind was absolutely brutal. The rain was pelting for a couple hours starting around 4:00am. I was genuinely worried about my tent stakes coming up for a while. I piled rocks on top of them, but once it started to die down around 5:30am I was able to sleep for a little bit longer.

Today was an easy day, just 8 miles to get to the next shelter. Most of us are staying in the hostel either Sunday or Monday night. Jules and I have got a big day tomorrow with 15 miles.

Today was a pretty average day, still having a blast, but we took it easy, stretched out a lot. Got to the shelter around 4:00pm and hung out with everybody for a while. Met 3 sisters from Maine who are hiking the AT together which was pretty cool. Maybe Megan and Emily would do it with me one day.

Trail name might be BNC, for Ball n Cup, cause of my kendama. A lot of people tried it out tonight and I think that name is going to stick.

Tomorrow will be a big day, waking up earlier than usual to try and get some big boy miles in.

See ya lovelies ;)
