3/26 Day 7
Today was the earliest we hit the trail. Jules and I are trying to wake up for 7:00 and hit the trails by 8:30 now. We had 15.5 miles today so we tried to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. We were off to a pretty hot start, crushing the first 10 miles in under 4 hours. The elevation wasn't anything too challenging.
We ended up taking a super long break for lunch. A lot of the people we've been camping with are hitting the hostel tonight so we watched them hike past.
On our way to Dick's Gap, we were blessed with more trail magic. Some snacks, fruit and even a Coors. Need all the carbs you can get.
And lastly, the porcelain throne of the night.
Super excited to resupply and shower at the hostel tomorrow. Long 1.2 mile hike to the road that the shuttle is going to pick us up.
Happy trails!
