Privy had an a pretty great view for the sunrise this morning

Starting to wake up earlier, realized the miles are easier in the morning before the sun comes out

Somebody left some trail magic in the coolers so I had a brownie or two, sierra mist, and a veggie wrap that I saved for lunch 

First 20 mile day today, lots of great views

Last few miles weren't easy, but relatively unscathed nonetheless. Easy day tomorrow into town. 

Did run into a guy named Veggie at camp, found out he was from Rochester NH. Definitely the person closest to Dover so far. 

6 miles into Erwin, then resupply time in town

Travel day Drive down to the airport with Mom, Dad and Shannon, jealous that they were getting donuts and hanging with Miguel after.  Plane got delayed for some reason beyond my comprehension, gave me plenty of time to charge my devices and watch one of the best movies of all time  Sat across the aisle from a really cute baby, not as cute as Miguel obviously Had myself a Pepsi (JetBlue doesn't do coke apparently ...) And bacardi, and slept as well as the baby next to me.  Amanda from the Grateful hiker picked me up where she drove me and a Canadian to the start of the AT. We listened to a quick 10 minute leave no trace talk, officially registered and learned how to properly throw our bear bag.  Spent the rest of the night chatting around the campfire with "Karma" somebody who has hiked  the AT 4 times before. Got some great advice, are some ramen, brushed my teeth and settled in for the night.  Cheers to the r...

Probably the best day on trail Woke up at 3:30 this morning to catch the sunrise on McAfee Knob and it did not disappoint, definitely my favorite view and sunrise of the trail Had some more miles to get into town, had a killer pulled pork salad. Last resupply on trail. Ran into some day hikers, one of them had a son who hiked the trail so she gave me an oatmeal cookie, didn't remember to take a picture till the last bite.  To top it all off, when we left town, we also hit 1/3rd of the way to Katahdin,  Had no idea that I would be able to make it this far, but definitely surprised and happy that I did Until tomorrow 🤙  See ya lovelies

What a glorious zero day, we slept in, had an incredible breakfast, waffles, eggs, bacon and fresh fruit.  Spent the day relaxing, drinking, and brainstorming mileage for my final week on trail.  Resupply tomorrow, then an easy 4 miles back in trail  See ya 😘
